Start Small

How Much Tallow Balm Should You Use?

Start with less than a pea-sized amount for the face and a pea-sized amount for a small body area. Warm it between clean fingertips, spread a thin layer and add more only if your skin still needs it.

Use Less on the Face

The face usually needs less balm than hands, elbows or knees. Begin with a small dab, warm it fully and apply a thin layer.

If the finish feels heavy, use less the next time. Do not keep layering simply because the formula is concentrated.

Adjust for the Size of the Area

A pea-sized amount is a practical starting point for a small dry area. Larger areas may need more, but add it gradually so you can judge the spread and feel.

Warm hands and skin temperature can make the balm easier to distribute.

Let the First Layer Settle

Pause after application before deciding to add more. Your preferred amount will depend on the area, the rest of your routine and how rich you want the finish to feel.

There is no universal amount that guarantees a result for every person.
