How to Store a Water-Free Tallow Balm
Keep ChiroLife tightly closed in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. The Amazon safety information gives the same storage direction and says to keep the jar out of children’s reach.
Choose a Cool, Dry Place
A closed cabinet away from a sunny window, radiator or hot car is a better choice than a location exposed to repeated heat. Follow any additional storage information printed on your jar.
“Cool and dry” does not mean the product must be refrigerated unless the label specifically says so.
Close the Lid After Every Use
Use clean fingertips and replace the lid promptly. Keeping the container closed reduces unnecessary exposure while the jar is stored.
Do not add water or other products to the jar. That would change the finished formula described on the label.
Temperature Can Affect Texture
A balm can feel softer in warmth and firmer in cooler conditions. Let the jar return to a moderate room temperature before judging the texture.
A texture change caused by temperature is not, by itself, proof that a jar is unsafe or defective.
